Why is Zeffy being used? What about platform fees?
Zeffy is a completely free payment processor for non-profits. They do not charge processing fees or standard transaction fees, meaning 100% of your contribution directly builds the mission of Thirst With Hunger. If you choose, you can leave a small voluntary tip to Zeffy on the payment screen to support their platform, but this is entirely optional.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes! Thirst With Hunger is an officially recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law, and you will receive a tax receipt for your records.
How can I adjust or manage a recurring donation?
Any recurring support can be easily adjusted, paused, or cancelled at any time. When your donation finishes, Zeffy automatically provides you with an account linkage email where you can control active donations, or you can contact our treasury team directly at treasurer@thirstwithhunger.com to update your giving parameters.
